Varieties of Rice

Varieties of Rice and other products:
White Rice (New)
This is processed directly from raw paddy.
White Rice (Old)
The paddy is stored in our godowns for 6-12 months, depending on customers’ requirement and process the paddy into rice.
Steam Rice
Steam is given to fresh raw paddy and subsequently dries it for processing. In other words, the fresh paddy is converted into old paddy artificially. This rice contains all the characters of old rice. The extra character of rice is that it will have slight boiling smell.
Half Boiled Rice
The raw paddy is soaked in a water tank for eight hours and then steam is given. Afterwards, the paddy is dried outside and then goes for processing. This variety is similar to the above Steam Rice.
Full Boiled Rice (Double)
Steam is given to fresh raw paddy and subsequently soak the steamed paddy for 24 hours. The process of steaming and soaking is repeated before the rice goes for milling. This rice will not have any smell and its quality is good.
Full Boiled Rice (Single)
The raw paddy is soaked in hot water for 48 hours. The soaked paddy is boiled and dried. This rice will have typical boiled smell.
Brown Rice
Paddy is de husked and un polished
